Confusing words: Draught and Drought

Draught is a noun used to describe a current of unpleasantly cold air blowing through a room.

For example: I had a sore neck because I had been sitting in a draught.

Drought is also a noun which is used to describe a long period when there is little or no rain.

For example: The drought in Somalia is causing terrible human suffering.

!Note – in AmE draught is spelt draft.
