100-year-old chalk board drawings uncovered in Oklahoma
While removing old chalkboards at Emerson High School in Oklahoma, contractors made a pretty cool discovery.
Behind the chalkboards being removed were even older chalkboards that had been untouched for nearly 100 years.
“The penmanship blows me away, because you don’t see a lot of that anymore,” said Sherry Kishore, Emerson High School Principal.
Pictured above is a wheel that was used to teach multiplication.
“I have never seen that technique in my life,” remarked Kishore.
The last time these chalkboards saw light was 1917.
